Chloe’ McCleary, Director of Zachary Chamber
Chloe’ was born and raised in Zachary and resides here with her husband Mike and children, Fiona and Lane.
After graduating from LSU, she spent much of her career as an educator teaching at Zachary High School. In May 2022, she left the field of education to launch her own business, Tomato Jane.
Chloe’ has organized and worked on many city, church, and school events and fundraisers that have positively impacted our community.
She has also owned several small businesses and has the experience and understanding of positively building and promoting businesses. She has a deep-seated passion for small businesses and believes they are the fabric of a community.
Chloe’ looks forward to working alongside Zachary Chamber of Commerce members to strengthen what they have already built. She is excited about this challenge and looks forward to supporting local businesses in her beloved hometown.
What does the director do?
The director of a Chamber of Commerce typically oversees the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the organization. Their responsibilities may include; Leadership and Management, Membership Development, Advocacy and Public Relations, Program Development, Strategic Planning, Community Engagement and more along with the Board of Directors to help and oversee that running’s of the local Chamber.
Overall, the director of a Chamber of Commerce plays a vital role in advancing the interests of the local business community, promoting economic development, and enhancing the overall quality of life in the area served by the Chamber.
